Thank you for all your nominations...

What a fun time of a year this is. This year is no exception! Last year Dane and I stayed in Idaho and had Christmas just the two of us -- although it was fun to be just the two of us we are happy to be with family this year in Colorado.

I hope you have enjoyed this Christmas season and been able to focus on what Christmas is really about and been able to do something special for those around you that you love.

You have had a little over a week to send in nominations of people in your lives that you care about that you feel would cherish custom photography through trying circumstances. I have been touched as I have ready the stories of your friends and family. I have had such a hard time choosing just one. It has taken us 2 days to get down to Colorado and I have spent alot of the down time in the car thinking about your nominations and putting alot of thought into who I should choose.

Congratulations to Brook and David in Rigby. Your friend Sherie thinks alot of you two and your little family. I can't wait to meet you guys.

Family Photos in 10 minutes... { Idaho Falls Photographer }

It was cold this day! We went out anyway to get some updated family pics for my good friend Jen. She is so great and so is her little family. LOVE them. They ordered a big 16x20 of this first one to replace the last ones that we did. You can see their last session here.

You know someone who can’t afford custom photography, but who would cherish it this holiday season. You know someone who deserves a year-round reminder of their family’s spirit, love, and beauty.

Sneak Peek! { Idaho Falls Photographers }

This afternoon I got to shoot these sisters! I had to put two up for Mom to see because I'm sure she is curious how her session turned out. I would be! For some reason I don't do alot of babies and I do almost all of my shoots outside but here is a baby and a shoot inside! These girls really couldn't be any cuter.

Reminder: Linden Park Craft Fair

Just wanted to send out a reminder about the Linden Park Craft Fair THIS Saturday from 10-4. I'm not even going to tell you how long I spent brooding over these little cards trying to choose each and every little picture. There were just TOO many to choose from. Fun Holidays activities for the Family

Nov. 21st - Family Day at the Museum from 11am-3pm admission is FREE

Nov. 27-30th - The Forgotten Carols starring Michael McLean. Tickets are available online or in store at Deseret Book. Performance at Idaho Falls Civic Auditorium

Dec. 4th - The Christmas stroll at Snake River Landing from 6pm-9pm admission is FREE: they are going to have choirs, special musical performances, carriage rides, food & a visit from Santa!!

Linden Park Craft Fair

Jaclyn Davis Photography will be at the Linden Park Craft Fair December 12th, from 10-4. Come join us and see all the fun stuff that is going to be there!

Reading Children Session { Idaho Falls Photographer }

These kids belong to a good friend of mine! When we moved up to Idaho Falls we didn't know anyone and I was pregnant at the time and Desiree took it upon herself to put on a baby shower for me and since then has always gone overboard with doing things for me. She is such a great friend! I'm so glad that I could repay her a portion of everything she has done for me... in pictures! Aren't they cute?
